3/21/12 (Vista, CA) – With a grant award of $10,000 to the Heaven skatepark project in Hartford, Connecticut, the Tony Hawk Foundation has helped to fund more than 500 skateparks in all 50 states. Total grants awarded by the Foundation since launching in 2002 have now surpassed $4-million.

Tony Hawk has been helping create free, public skateparks for at-risk youth for over a decade now, and starting today he’s offering a collection of personal belongings and other special items to help raise funds to build even more.
